“Old School” can be “New School”

20 years ago when wax technology was in its infancy, it was the norm to strip and wax every three months. Put down three coats of wax and it will wear off in a few months. Then came new non yellowing waxes that can stay down indefinitely if maintained properly. Today we have the new generation of “Green Floor Care Products” which are back to a three month cycle since they are not as durable.

At Entrust One, we look for the option which produces the smallest footprint at the end of the day. Is stripping and waxing every quarter “Greener” than “Old School” methods in which you strip every two years?  Old school methods use less water for stripping, less energy, less labor, produce less trash in the waste stream and provide a long lasting result. We believe that this leaves a smaller “environmental footprint” in the end.
